Oil painting takes a lot of time and even more when i want translate the concept on image.
I started this painting two years ago and i stopped many times to thinking about how i could resolve entire in right feeling for me.

"Saint Jerome Writing", Caravaggio, 1605-1606

So after two years i'm very close to finish this surf version of "San Jerome Writing". The original idea from Caravaggio's painting it's been translated under a surf concept with classical surf objects substitution. An old Skill100 planer, a Steadtler pencil, a shaped foam and an order form became symbols to bring old world wide icon painting from XVI century to contemporary personal view.
